Allow turning off alt magnifier keyboard shortcut in Qt State Machine editor

When you Alt+Tab away in the Qt Creator State Machine editor, then come back, it activates the magnifier. You can turn this off by hitting Alt again, but I find even this unreliable – sometimes even after trying longer and shorter alt presses, it won't turn off. Even with that, as someone who does alt-tab back and forth all day, it gets annoying have to turn it off, or worse, I click on the screen with it active and everything gets magnified.

Can there be an option to turn off the Alt shortcut for magnifier? Or, even better, if it's possible, could Alt+Tab be detected and block the magnifier from coming on? Thank you.
