learned more about using debug options
Description
I discovered the qml debugging icon is now active when using the qmlproject type.
I used it for the first time.
All looked very nice. There were many windows opened as a result.
I "closed" the application by right clicking on the application in the task bar
and choosing "close".
I thought that would end the debug session.
So all of the open windows still remained.
Then I went to close the QtCreator main window.
And i received an error message that the debugger was still running.
I did a search on "qt qml how end a debugging" It provided the usual
documentation on "Interacting with the debugger' That document contained
everything about the debugger except how to end a debug session
I am sending this as is. I tried to attach two snapshots
They both have a "red" line blow them so I expect they will
not be sent I will wait and see what happens
I just tried to submit this issue, and received the same xsrf message
saying the issue was not create and allowed me to retry; So here I am
The snapshot has been deleted even if it had the green bar under it
So now I will send this without the attachment
By-th-by: I found that there is and menu element under "debugger" that allows
you to end the debugging session. - Now it just seems a low quality documentation
problem
Just a suggestion: If you right click on the debugging arrow you might provide
a link to the "debugging" main menu. I am for making all of the tools in the
left column to be complete in providing services and not having to go around
and finding something related to a tool that is not associated with that tool
bars icon.
But this may be too forward thinking (it rocks the boat). So I don't expect it will
change any direction.
