I have moved onto Qt V6 - no longer matters
Description
After crash, qmlproject looses track of one of the files in its project directory.
I was working on my Item3 project that included a file named "Img_glossary.qml"
I have included an import for that file in the main (item3.qml) file.
The "Img_glossary.qml" file is and has been in the same directory as the project
since I created it.
After the crash, I restarted the Qt application. It started correctly. No errors.
Then I tried to run the Item3 app under the debugger, and now each time
I receive the error message
file:///home/leemke/proj/qt/item3/item3.qml:3 "Img_glossary.qml": no such directory
I have attached a screen shot that clearly shows both files in the project directory
(I created a copy of the original Item3.qml just in case I need to recreate it. I have
planned to add other elements, but have not done so at this point. So the file is useless
to me).
By-the-way, when I try to create the issue with the attached file (error) it will not
allow me to create it. SO I had to delete it from this issue to get it created.
Now I fear I will need to reinstall again to clean up the situation, to be sure that
nothing remains of this environment.
Unfortunately: Your Jira drag and drop process failed with:
Jira could not attach the file as there was a missing token. Please try attaching the file again.
So I can not attached the screen snapshot. So you will have go with the copy
of the error message above, and assume what I said it true.
Keep Trying (I will; I don't guess you want me, but I will).
