When the color scheme for the theme is changed then opening a file will show the old color scheme for the text editor in Qt Quick Designer until an update is triggered. To reproduce, change the color scheme for the theme via Tools - Options - Text Editor - Fonts & Colors. Then go to the Design for a form, and switch to the Text Editor and the background for the code will be incorrect. Opening another form and switching to the text editor will show the problem too. If you undock the text editor then it will update to be correct.
