QtCreator : Build Settings splitter states not restored on start of program

QtCreator: Build Settings splitter states not restored on start of program.

On choosing the Build Settings icon from the left toolbar, there are two splitters on that view.

Neither splitter position is apparently saved once set and subsequently the splitter positions are also not restored on program start (QtCreator)
