Connections object and Component are marked as Unknown components with error code M300

When using the editor in Qt Creator, I keep getting inline errors saying:

Unknown component. (M300)

This happens when I use the Connections object and the Component object while editing a QML file. Attached is an example of the what the error looks like.

This issue happens even after I run CMake on the project and I build the application.
