Copying and pasting text by highlighting and ctrl + dragging will cause the text editor to become corrupted

      Copying and pasting text by highlighting and ctrl + dragging will cause the text editor to become corrupted.
      The initial pasted text looks fine, but any subsequent edits will have rendering issues.
      Saving and closing the file after editing will sometimes crash QtCreator.
