Kit name input field: Very obstrusive "Unnamed" name

When I edit a Kit name and try to delete its contents, the value "Unnamed" is automatically re-inserted. It is basically impossible to first delete the contents of the field in order to type something own.

This appears like a UX hack from times where we didn't yet have placeholder text for QLineEdit.
