    Description

On a new-ish Arch system on which I have not yet done Android development so far, I installed Android Studio 4.1.3, then the latest SDK, Android 11 platform, and latest NDK. Now I try to set up Creator to use it. As the screenshot shows, it doesn't accept the ndk directory ~/Android/Sdk/ndk/22.1.7171670/ and hints that one possible reason is because RELEASE.TXT is missing. Indeed it is missing. Touching the file to create it is not enough, either. I guess it was expecting to read the version number out of there?
