When working on a bigger project, sometimes editing something and trying to debug again results in empty locals view in a place where it previously worked fine. This seems to happen when incremental builds are used. If the project is fully rebuilt again, it works fine again.

Same behavior when debugger helpers are disabled.

Sounds like a problem on compiler and/or cdb side more than Qt Creator, but perhaps there is something that can be done
