If you cancel a qmake build it just hangs.  Other parts of QtCreator are fine but you cannot Run either.  Only way to fix it seems to be to exit QtCreator and start again  Cancel can be done by pressing "red box", or "red box on hammer", Alt-backspace, or from menu Build/CancelBuild - all of these do the same thing - hang. (Canceling a run works fine).
