Can't disable "GDB Not Responding" dialog.

When debugging my AM3357 with my j-link I get below dialog everytime I start the application. Everything else works correctly. I can pause, resume, step, view variables, set variables etc. My only problem is this window appearing 20sec after debugging is started. It may be due to some misconfiguration on my part. My issues with this window are:

• Why I can't disable it?
• Why I can't set the timeout to something like 1 second?

Right now this window is mandatory and I can only set the timeout in increments of 20 seconds with minimum of 20 second. It is enough time to get bored and/or switch to another task. And while I am typing something else, this windows appears and steals focus. When I press ENTER e.g. to execute command I was just typing, I accept the default button of the dialog window instead. That is currently "stop debugging" which means my debugging session gets interrupted. I have to do all over again. This includes the danger that I will once again accidentally cancel this debugging session.

Proposed solutions:

• Give more info in this dialog so that I can fix my configuration. Just keep in mind that I don't want a breakpoint at main so if you are waiting for this, I will never fix this because it is exactly as I want it right now.
• Give ability to disable this dialog window. If the application fails to start I can see it and I can decide to wait or interrupt. No need for any dialog windows.
• When the dialog window appears make it disabled for a few seconds just like Firefox's file download dialog. This will prevent accidentally accepting it with ENTER. Or don't steal focus. Or use any other technique to prevent accidental accepting.
• Let me choose smaller timeout. If it is 1 second I can wait for it to appear and dismiss it manually once it appears.

Oh and last remark: I am using off-the-shelf Kubuntu 20.04. But I have no Idea whether it has X11 or Wayland. Your selection of Platforms makes it impossible for me to provide accurate information.
