"Parsing QML files" for no apparent reason

      After loading my around 500 file project qtcreator consumes around 1gig of memory. However qttcreator now keeps sitting there "Sacnning for tests" and "Parsing  QML files" until a combined 3 gig has been used. I have a very few QML-files. The project is a cmake project.
