Steps:

• have QC as project opened
• (not sure if needed, but work with the project)
• trigger locator and use 'm about' to locate functions starting with 'about'

Current result:

• locator seems to spin the search / update for couple of minutes
• modifying the text now does not cancel or modify the search
• even closing the locator and re-opening has still the spinning wheel and no updates no matter what you type
