The McuSupport plugin started as a POC prototype that has been patched over time to accommodate new features. Because of that, a huge amount of technical debt has been accumulated, making any further modifications costly, difficult, and error-prone.

Before starting the work, we need to refine what exactly needs to be done and have a concrete plan. The goal of this spike is to study in detail the plugin, and what needs to be done to improve it. Jira tasks shall be created as a result, under a common epic.
