Double-click text select does not update primary clipboard

In Creator 5, when I double click on text to select the whole word, I can then paste that text somewhere else using the middle mouse button.

In Creator 6, there seems to be a regression and this does not work anymore.

Note: It's double-click selection that doesn't work. Selecting text with the mouse by click-drag still works.
