Clicking on selection end doesn't clear the selection

    Description

      1. Mark some text with the mouse or keyboard.
      2. Click the same position where the cursor is.
      3. Selection should be cleared but it's not.
      4. Hold Alt and select a block starting from this position. The block is selected, but the previous selection is still highlighted. Copy only copies the block though. And this is also not complete (this is a separate bug though).
