Whitespace has same color as text in "String"

When "Visualize whitespace" is checked, the whitespace within a "String" has the same colour as the surrounding text, making it very difficult to read the string.

I have seen this problem in earlier QtCreator versions as well. I think it has something to do with the ClangCodeModel plugin, as the problem disappears if I disable it.
