Keyboard shortcut "Next Bookmark: Ctrl+." no longer moves to the next bookmark

      Pressing the Shortcut 'Ctrl+.', Bookmark Next, now displays an 'e' at the current cursor position.  And the cursor doubles-up before and after the 'e', like too blinking pipe symbols around: |e|
