The paste from clipboard stops working after a certain amount of time. When starting Qt creator and opening a project, I can use it on the first file I have opened. But all consecutive files I open fail at pasting from the clipboard. 

Note that the menu entry: edit -> paste from clipboard, also doesn't work. So it is not really shortcut related I think.
