Qt Creator 7.0.0
Description
After upgrading to Creator 7 and opening Creator to the default, empty session, I saw some issues coming from the Qt for Android packages I had installed a few weeks ago (with Creator 6.x) via the online installer:
My first issue with this is that it doesn't say to go into the Android settings to fix it. I did that anyway, and it appears to have fixed it because I don't see those errors when launching Creator now.
After going into the Android settings, a dialog popped up telling me that some packages were missing, which was useful. I confirmed that I wanted to install them but then just saw a disabled UI:
I figured that something had to be happening but I didn't realise that I could scroll down (scroll bars are transient on macOS and so I didn't have that visual hint). It was only after hitting OK to close the settings dialog and re-opening it that I realised that I could scroll down, and that's where the download progress was shown:
When that finished, everything was good:
So, to summarise, please:
- Tell users where to go and what to do in order to fix the errors.
- Make the download progress visible after clicking OK to download missing packages by scrolling it into view, for example.
