Bare Matel Kit no longer finds executable after Upgrade

Before Qt Creator 8.0.0 I was able to build and launch my bare metal project via Qt Creator.

The controller is a STM32 using ST-Link-Utility for commuication with the target.

When pressing "run" or "debug" following message appears:

13:42:35: Starting /usr/local/bin/st-util --stlink_version=2 --listen_port=4242 --verbose=0...
13:42:35: Cannot debug: Could not find executable for "device://{71b4cd89-4f29-4af8-8457-cc7ef2c4508f}/home/khschneider/src/firmware/zf-microcontroller/build-firmware-STM32F103-Debug/slam_firmware.elf".
13:42:35: /usr/local/bin/st-util crashed.

The path displayed in the message after device://{...} is correct.
