The ImageViewer example loses process control when started in Qt Creator

I opened the ImageViewer example from the Welcome pane in Qt Creator 9.0.0 and built it with the 6.5.0 beta one kit from the Qt Maintenance tool on macOS 13.0.1 on Apple Silicon MacBook.

The app starts and runs but Qt creator reports:

making an impression that the app is closed. The red Stop button is grayed out and it is not possible to stop the app from Qt Creator
