Shift-Tab remove indent line independently of cursor position

Removing ident only works in one cursor postion (after line begin, but before text).

Auto indent often indents lines when inserting a line break. This has to be corrected then.

It would be a pretty productivity boost if reindenting (shift-tab) would work independent of the cursor position.
