Android signing certificate alias is not set when it’s entered while building the project

Steps to reproduce:

1. Change the build version to release.
2. Select Keystore file.
3. Click the 'Cancel' button in enter password pop-up. 
4. Build the app from the left pane menu.
5. Enter the correct password.

Expected: The certificate alias is updated, and the app could be built.

Actual: Getting error "Cannot sign the package. Certificate alias  does not exist."
