For a large project, it can take hours to build the list of unused functions. Therefore, it is very inconvenient if that list drops out of the search history, and you have to start from scratch.

Question is whether the search result window is the right place, or whether a more generic approach (such as the ability to "pin" search result windows) would make sense.
