ClangFormat settings does not persist

      In Qt Creator->Preferences->C++->Code Style create a custom settings for the current settings. 

      1. Then for example in "Braces" tab check all the settings and Apply/OK.
      2. Go back to the "Braces" tab and un-check some of the setting and Apply/OK.
      3. Now, if you go back to see the settings in the "Braces" tab they are still all checked.

      The above settings are mentioned as an example to reproduce the issue. The other setting under the other tabs like "content" seem to suffer from the same issue when checking / un-checking them.
