Jumping to beginning of a file takes ~ 1.5 seconds

Open a file of e.g. 150 lines. Put the cursor at its last line, e.g. with `G`.

Press `gg` to jump to the first line.

Observe that it takes around 2 second to get there. This should be instantaneous instead.
