qmldesigner turns -Werror on by default

      In src/plugins/qmldesigner/CMakeLists.txt

      extend_qtc_library(QmlDesignerUtils
    CONDITION NOT DISABLE_COMPILE_WARNING_AS_ERROR
    PROPERTIES COMPILE_WARNING_AS_ERROR ON
)

      That turns -Werror on by default, which is a big no-no. Never do that. Turning Werror on must be an explicit action by the user who is compiling the software in question.
