Qt Creator's Customized Code Style Preferences Are NOT Persistent

I go to code style preferences (Qt Creator -> Edit -> Preferences -> C++ --> Code Style) to customize some styles, create new settings (copying built-in Qt or GNU) and apply the changes and press OK. but next time I bring up the preference window, the changes are gone.
