Ignoring .clang-format if there is an error

      If you use a valid .clang-format which is using newer entries you get an error with an older Qt Creator. The clang format plugin is ignoring this error but not reading the rest of the .clang-format file too. That leads to formatting errors.

      It would be nice if there would be an error message or other feedback, so people know that they should update.
