QtC is unable to change password used for remote Linux device

Steps to reproduce:

• Add a remote Linux device e.g. as described here.
• enter a correct user name in the Wizard
• enter a wrong password when prompted
• Device will be created and considered unusable.
• Hit the "Test" button on the right

  Expected result: Qt Creator prompts for password again, so the right password can be entered.

  Actual result: Qt Creator never prompts for the password and continues to use the incorrect one.
