It would be nice to have a simple way in the gui to specify the necessary pieces (CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX? to /tmp/? somethig else ...?) to make a stock project usable with a remote setup.

or, perhaps, produce some warning with helpful instructions how to fix this if an unsuitable combination of non-remote-enabled project + remote run device is encountered.
