Terminal improvements

Current status 

• Qt Creator does not allow the user to configure their terminal settings (including the default shell selection, will retain the configured settings, if so preferred by the user - so settings can be project-specific in addition to being global)
• Qt Creator only displays one terminal window at a time.

What is the benefit? Why is this valuable?

• Quality of life improvments to users who utilize the terminal.

Technical information

• TBD: how are multiple terminals rendered - is there a maximum number / minimum width.

Acceptance criteria 

• Changed terminal settings persist across invocations.
• Qt Creator presents multiple terminals in tabs side by side.
