Description
Sometimes programs and build toolchains produce colored output.
In my particular case, our application produces yellow text for certain class of warnings, light gray for some others console messages.
When using a theme where the background of these output panes is white, yellow and light gray text is really hard to read. This makes using light theme difficult.
There can also be build tools which use colored output. I have encountered the same annoyance before, a few times over the years.
We could alter our code to allow defining a theme (with associated development cost), but use of IDE should not require adding a feature to a program being developed with it...
I think it would be low or very low effort to add "Background color" selection to
Preferences -> Build&Run -> Application output
Preferences -> Build&Run -> Compile output
