Automatically open empty subdirectories when opening parent directory

This would be a nice ease-of-use feature, especially when writing Qt apps with custom Java code for Android where we are required to have long paths such as:

$Project_root/android/src/org/qtproject/qt/android/$package_name/some_code.java

Browsing to these is slightly annoying on Qt Creator, having to click each directory open separately. Other editors, such as VSCode, just automatically unravel the directory tree until they find a directory with a file or multiple directories inside it.
