QtCreator 15 vs macOS < 12 : installed but won't run + no way back

      MaintenanceTool allows for the installation of the latest QtCreator version; here, version 15.0.0

      But my MacBook Pro is old, and support macOS 11.7.0 Big Sur, no more.

      And QtCreator 15.0.0 requires at least macOS 12

      MaintenanceTool does not provide any option to install a previous version.

      I'm stuck.

       

      In comparison, same problem for Qt : 6.8.0 won't work with macOS 11.7.0, but in this case, MaintenanceTool allows installation of previous versions.
