Add option to display text centered

Showing a git commit in side-by-side view benefits from more horizontal space, so I often turn off the side bar (Alt+0). When I then change to a code editor, the code is displayed far to the left of the window. It would like to enable a view which displays the code in the center of the window.

Of course not every line should be centered individually. Indentations in the editor should remain intact. The contents of the editor should be shifted to the right entirely.
