new (qml) files not seen on external changes.

I use git for my code.

Today I ended up doing a git-cherry-pick. In the picked commit a new QML file was added and this commit also properly added it to the QRC for the project.

I did the cherry-pick in a terminal outside of QtCreator while the project was loaded.

What happened:

using the 'ctrl-k' menu I tried to open the newly added qml file, but creator failed to provide me with that option on any autocomplete.

What I expected to happen:

upon re-entering creator I expect that the changes in the qrc file are noticed (newer file stamp) and the files listed in there to be noticed just like they are on initial open of a project.
In short, I expect the new file to be one I can open in the editor using (part of) the filename in the 'ctrl-k' popup.
