I edit svg files' source code and want to view the result. Creator allows that but for switching from the text editor to the image viewer, I always have to use the menus.

It would help me if I could toggle this with a toolbar icon or even a keyboard shortcut.

I tried showing the same file in two editor splits but that doesn't help. As soon as I change the editor in one of the splits, the other split changes, too.
