Description
After updating Qt with the prompt that Creator gives, Creator seems to have been bricked. As shown below, the menu bar isn't visible. I also can't access e.g. preferences, sessions, etc. via their shortcuts.
My licenses don't expire until the end of the year (though I'd expect some kind of message telling me that's why it's bricked if that were the case).
Running with -tcs would be a workaround if I didn't lose all of my kits. Running it without that afterwards, the issue is still there.
I did have an issue where it said the license server process had to be stopped during updating; I tried pressing retry but it didn't help, so clicked ignore. Then I eventually had to restart the machine.
Even when trying to uninstall Qt completely, I get that error:
Error during removal process: This process should be stopped before continuing: C:\dev\Qt\Tools\LicenseService\qtlicd.exe
