[Local Build] Reference issues occasionally empty, despite existing issues

In local build, after clicking "Local Dashboard" the drop down option "Reference issues" occasionally shows an empty list despite existing issues. The bug appears non-deterministically and If we switch to "Locally changed Issues" and back to "Reference Issues" it usually renders the items again.

I've only tested this on Linux/Wayland but suspect that the issue happens on other platforms too.
