Qt Creator 16.0.2
Description
User proposed following improvements for Qt Creators pop out windows:
When dockable windows are popped out, they could be managed just like the code editor window, with all the usual controls for maximizing, minimizing, and closing.
Editor is not a dockable window, as it creates a new window that can't be docked back into Qt Creator after creation. Could this limitation be removed?
Regarding the debug views that have recently been made dockable and floating, the user hopes they could at least have the full control of any normal child window.
For example to be able to place the QML profiler, stack trace, or similar tools onto a second monitor or full screen within a virtual workspace, as supported by most operating systems now.
Views like the QML profiler require a lot of screen space, so not being able to quickly pop them out and utilize the native OS maximize or full-screen buttons is inconvenient.
