When you want to zoom in to a specific event It is very problematic and frustrating. 
When try to use the zoom slider it keeps resetting to 0 in the slider whenever you move the view with the mouse.

Further If you are looking into any event and using pinch/zoom View totally flies out of the visible area and then you keep wondering where it is. View should stay centered in any case.
