Why?
Based on the user feedback project creation flow is not the most intuitive or fast. Especially new users find many steps of the setup confusing. More experinced users would also want to save their most common settings to create the project quickly. It's also hard for the users to quickly see what all the differend project options since they are hidden under category tabs.

How?
Use user feedback (surveys, analytics, forum, interviews) and also benchmark other tools to create concept that can be tested with the users. Also we should look into Qt project creation in VS Code and consider improving that as well.
