Regression 16.0.1 -> 17.0.1: No wait cursor while opening project

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Open Welcome view
      • Click on a large project in the "PROJECTS" list of last opened projects (e.g. qtbase)

      Expected result:

      • Switch to wait cursor, while project is loading

      Actual result:

      • Mouse cursor remains the same (arrow), application is unresponsive while project is loeaded
