problem exists for some month now (so it probably also pre V17.0.0)

I have a strange behaviour with terminals:

1st: internal terminal works (output captured)

2nd: external terminals do not work

• xfce terminal not even opens a window
• kde terminal opens, but when executed program has finished, it closes immediately, so one can not read the output

The Application Output tab in Creator always shows: the exe is executed, the return code of the run executable has the expected value.

I run several PC's & VMs with Archlinux - all show the same behaviour!
