When using the "Add New File" wizard (e.g., via Ctrl+N or File > New File or Project), the input fields within the wizard (e.g., for file name) do not automatically gain keyboard focus. Although the cursor appears to be flashing in the field, any keyboard input is directed to the main Qt Creator window, such as triggering its own shortcuts or typing in the currently active code editor. The user must manually click on an input field within the wizard to gain focus and begin typing.
They type of file category matters for this issue. The C++ source one routinely does this however the General categories work fine.
