I made a new project, then copied files in from another project & directory and added them to the project (not sure if this has anything do with the bug). Everything worked fine until I made changes to the ui in the Designer. They didn't register in the code or in the exe... until that is, I unchecked the 'shadow build' option, rebuilt the project, re-checked the shadow build and built the project again.
