Qt Creator 18.0.0-beta1
-
Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS on a workstation with a AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32-Core Processor and 256 GB RAM.

After upgrading to this beta version, I was unable to build and run my app for Android.
I think the error below is the root cause.
> Product type is not an application, not building an APK.
The selected target was my app (not a library, which is the usual cause for this error in my experience).
After downgrading to 17.0.1, the app was built and installed successfully on my Nokia Android phone.
I ran build/clean and re-ran CMake with "Initial configuration" before each build on both versions of Qt Creator.
The project I worked on: https://github.com/jgaa/next-app
